Steam Cleaning

Steam cleaning is probably the best way to clean any stone surface in order to avoid damage to it.
Eco Clean Sussex takes pride for the professional service we offer to our growing numbers customer in this sector. Both organic and inorganic substances build up on stone surfaces and make them look untidy and tired. 
Steam cleaning is a gentle way to return to them their impressive looks.
However, different stones require a different cleaning technique: what is good for a hard granite surface is not appropriate for soft sandstone. By using high-temperature steam at low pressure, our equipment will gently clean your stonework or masonry, using little water. The surface will not be saturated by water and it will dry in a few minutes.
The equipment Eco Clean Sussex uses produces steam with a temperature of up to 150 degrees Celsius at the nozzle end.
Both the temperature and pressure of the steam flow can be adjusted according to requirements.

 We also utilise traditional methods mainly to clean internal windows and shopfronts.

Eco Clean Sussex offers stone cleaning by using DOFF equipment.

Which allows the use of very high water temperature, yet both the temperature and water pressure can easily be control to adapt to the requirements of each task.

For this reason, water pressure is usually low. Which makes DOFF an efficient yet gentle system, because the amount of water it uses is low, between three and 5 litres per minute. This means that the surface that has been cleaned will not saturate by water so that it will dry in only a few minutes.
