Eco Clean Sussex An Evolution in Cleaning
Bird Deterrent and Clean Up Services
– We Cover the Whole of Sussex

Birds are most pleasant to watch and bring joy to our lives. However, in wrong places they can become a nuisance as their droppings can foul premises. And their noise can become a source of irritation.

Droppings of birds, such as seagulls and pigeons, are also a potential health hazard: pigeon guano carries the potential source of more than 40 diseases. So, dealing with the problem is not just an aesthetic matter.

Eco Clean Sussex has wide experience in this area and can offer the full package of services that includes cleaning an area from bird droppings. Disposing of it in a hygienic way and finally, installing deterrents to keep birds away in the future.

There are two ways to deter birds. Bird kites are attache to a long and strong string that is the tie to a tall, thin pole, which again is attache to a slab on the roof. Neither one is harmful to the birds and Eco Clean Sussex can supply and install both deterrents.

The kite has the form of a predator – birds have an innate instinct to stay well clear of the seemingly flying black figure. And with a short neck and long tail – the distinctive characteristics of predator birds.

Bird nets, which are mostly made of materials such as extra strong polyethene twine, are the other option. The strands of the net are woven in a manner that birds cannot penetrate it. They are also resistant to ultraviolet rays.

There is a wide range of products on the market. So, that you can choose a colour that meets your requirements and mesh size to deal with the kinds of birds that you want to keep out. You can also opt for a design that has entry gates or zips to allow access to the roof e.g. for maintenance and inspections.

A good install bird net is barely visible, yet it offers protection against most kinds of birds. It has high resistance against both rot and water absorption.

The netting is fixe in place by perimeter fixings and retaining wires, to which the net is attache with hog rings. These are usually made of galvanising or stainless steel. Which means that they fit securely and do not sag for a prolonge period of time.

Bird nets can use in a wide variety of locations – from open-air arenas to supermarkets, care homes, office buildings, restaurants and ponds etc.
